Again, it's Halloween eve and you know what that means: It's time for another Late H. Lee Atwater Award from Republican Evil. I hope that you enjoyed the last time we did this and if you didn't, hopefully you participate this time.

This year, we're going to do something different. Due to the sheer magnitude of eligible evil Republicans, we're going to have awards from three separate categories, Media, Politicians and Rubes. They have been busy and we need to give them as much as a chance as possible.

The first set of Evil Republicans are notable for their unique brand of evil as applied in the media. Talking heads who have distinguished their evilness in this political silly season.

At midnight, the desiccated corpse of Lee Atwater will rise from his grave in South Carolina and hand the award to the Republican who personifies the true spirit of G.O.P. evilness.
