4. I'm going. I'm bringing my 8 yr old and my mom is coming with us.

Not only does she name me after Gloria Steinem, but when I ask my mom if she wants to go the Prop H8 protest with me, she responds with "I was just about to ask if you wanted to go with me" :D

Meanwhile, my daughter knows she wants to make a sign that says: Let gay people get married!

This prop 8 pisses me off to no end. The biggest issue is obviously the discrimination. The 2nd major problem I have is the way the bigots have declared it to be evil for children to know what homosexuality is and that gay people want to get married the same way straight people do. Little do they realize that the fight taking place today is about bringing equality to the very generation they choose to exploit. I don't know about the other kids, but my daughter will know better.
