one, these are the people who were too stupid and greedy to keep the system viable. two, there are only 24 hours in a day, no one is superman, we are all human. and three, there are probably dozens, hundreds, or thousands of equally capable people who would step up and do a better job for a more reasonable salary. ever since reagan this has been the way. rich get richer poor get poorer. and if you don't think that it's not what you know but who you know consider where paulson got his deputy kashkari (goldman sachs) or why paulson bailed out AIG (goldman sachs) or who is president (thankfully for not much longer) and whose asses are being bailed out by the hapless taxpayer and on and on and on. it's like this circle of greedy white men is closing ranks on everybody else in the world and everybody else in the world must march to their tune and it fucking frustrates the crap out of me.
