Things I learned from right-wing extremists
Edited on Sun Nov-30-08 07:13 PM by DutchLiberal
It's Bill Clinton's fault.

Nobody got tortured when Bush was in power. There was merely some enhanced interrogation. People who complain about that have more symphony for terrorists than they have for America. Those held at Gitmo get a good treatment. They eat better than US soldiers. They get served turkey on Thanksgiving.

Valerie Plame was not covert.

All media are liberal. But what's worse is that they make up stories. All their stories. Everything. Nothing they ever report is even remotely true. Stories covered in the following media outlets can't be taken seriously: ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, BBC, Reuters, AP, NY Times, LA Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe etc.

It's Bill Clinton's fault.

Fox News is not biased. The only right-winger who works at Fox is Sean Hannity. All the others are moderates. Bill O'Reilly is an independent.

Global warming is not happening. It's a hoax. It's a world wide conspiracy of people who are trying to make money out of it, like that horrible Al Gore. There is much more evidence to the contrary. I don't have it here and I don't know where to find it, but it's out there somewhere.

Science is flip-flopping. These scientist guys never make up their mind, so why should we believe them?

It's Bill Clinton's fault.

The intelligence that justified the invasion of Iraq was not forged. There's no proof, let alone any indication that it was.

We did find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq after the invasion.

The economic meltdown is to blame on the Democrats. The economy was doing fine from 2001 until 2006. Bush did an excellent job in managing it. But everything went down the drain when the Democrats took over Congress in november 2006.

The response to Katrina was fast and efficient. It was the fastest and greatest rescue operation in US history. I don't get why people complain about it. Everything was taken care of with competence. Michael Brown did a heck of a job.

And last but not least: it's Bill Clinton's fault.

1. It's been a long time since I had to explain this...
But, I guess I will have to give it another go:

It's not Bill Clinton's fault, exactly. It's the fault of his penis. His penis, which is a sentient entity of its own, had the Secret Service code name of "Cthulhu" and is known to be responsible for every bad thing that ever happened, quite independently of Bill Clinton the person.

Just wanted to clear that up.

8. Wow, I never knew the penis had its own code name. I just call it the "Clenis." But I
agree--the Clenis is responsible for so very much we'll never know about...

If Poppy had been prosecuted for his crimes, we wouldn't be talking about this today.

IMHO

Junior would probably be a divorced and burned out drunk in some Texas trailer park.

For not prosecuting Prescott for treason and letting them get started in politics in the first place.

16. FDR? ... Oh right, he's that guy who's to blame for the Great Depression!
And then afterward putting it on that poor innocent Herbert Hoover.

It must be true, I heard it on Fox last week.

11. Katrina had bad management by Democrat(sic) leaders.
Edited on Sun Nov-30-08 08:15 PM by Festivito
In fact Democrats can be shown to be responsible for every problem we have had in this country, especially now.

Oh, and Clinton is a Democrat... and he left the incoming Bush administration with a recession.

It must be Clinton's fault,

otherwise, it would mean I was wrong, I made a mistake, I was fooled, I caused the problems we face, and worse. NAW.

It's Clinton's fault. It's Clinton's fault. It's Clinton's fault. It's Clinton's fault.

15. And Carter's. I forgot to mention that.
Remember, he handed that recession (which he single-handedly created) over to Saint Ronny, which accounts for the record deficits we had from 1980 until 1992 while Reagan and Bush were president?

Damn tax 'n' spend liberals! Good thing the Republican Congress balanced the budget when Clinton was in office.

14. "We're fighting the terrorists over there so we don't have to fight them here."
One of the numerous truly stupid memes floated by BushCo. It presupposes that one is dumb enough to believe that:

-Iraq is populated solely with "terrorists." No civilians, no ordinary people pushed to fury by the imposition of an occupying force...just "terrorists."
-Terrorists are incapable of "evildoing" elsewhere since they've all gone to Iraq to fight. Check with Spain, England and India on this one. :grr:

17. I like this one maybe the most...
..."symphony for terrorists"

I'm instructing a couple of my musical cohorts to assist me in the composition and performance of this work.

And don't forget, it's Bill Clinton's fault. Just wanted to make sure that was mentioned.

24. "Symphony for terrorists and oboe"
I was wondering about that...I mean, how would you play one?
Are they percussive, woodwind, string, brass, or what?

Think you might want to go with a concerto...they're usually shorter and involve fewer instruments than a full symphony, are they not?

Dedicate it to Bill Clinton.

Exactly how these hordes of scimitar-wielding, swarthy bogeymen will actually storm the beaches of the USA hasn't yet been explained by the RW.

By a flotilla of rubber rafts, perhaps? Rowboats? Dingies? Paddlewheelers?
