Twilight movie
This is the unintentionally funniest movie I've seen in a long time. I was forced to see this and was LOLing at how cheesy the lines are. The sad thing is that people my age actually are obsessed with this book.

2. I'm in college and know a lot of people in their 20s who are reading and obsessed with
this book and the actors in the movie. The movie just wasn't that great imo. I'll take Harry Potter even.

7. I Saw It
Harmless teen girl fantasy stuff. His teeth never penetrate her skin, if ya know what I'm sayin' ...

Visually, it's lovely.

4. Hey Vampires have always had an allure for teens
Think about it - stay young forever, party all night, never die...so on so on...

It's us ancient folk ;) who can see the possible value of going gently into that good night...

5. Oh, god, you should read the book for the lulz
Granted, I was only able to make it through 2 pages, but some of the WORST writing I have ever seen.

6. My fifth grade boy loves the fact that his "Diary of a Whimpy Kid"
series is written at the 5+ level and the Twilight series of his sisters is written at a 5th grade level. This is according to the book club info they send home.

disclaimer: I've read neither and am only happy to see the kids reading.

10. Ha!
Yeah, I'm not a book snob and won't trash something for not being a certain type of book, especially if it gets kids reading. However, regardless of whether or not I liked the series or not, those books needed an editor. Badly

13. The Movie was one of the Worst I have ever had to sit through.
I was not the only one. I made the mistake of going to the theater with someone else in their vehicle so I could not leave. Too bad they don't sell soft drinks in glass bottles like the do in Mexico. If they did, I would have busted a bottle and used the shards to saw off my head to escape.

If terrorists had taken over the theater and announced that they would kill a hostage to show they meant busness I am sure that dozens would have joined me in raising our hands and screaming, "Pick me! Pick me!"
