People are fucking stupid...
That's why the man died at Wal-Fart

I've flown hundreds of times and many times had this same mini-scenario. When you are the last group boarding ( or they say boarding all passengers now) - you get your boarding pass scanned and move down the moveable covered walkway to the plane. At DFW these can be quite long. There have been a number of times where I'm maybe 5-10 people from getting on actual plane, and STUPID ASSHOLES continue to pile in line with their luggage trying to push forward-pushing against us. I'm one of the ones who will turn around and say STOP MOVING no more room; and the sheep just stand there with a stupid look on their face. Like the plane is going to leave any sooner....

Same with the Muslims who trample their fellow brothers during the hajj Muslim pilgrimage, all to throw some rocks at a stupid wall.

People are fucking stupid, and I feel for the innocent who died. Like sheep trampling a duck. Had one of the sheep died it would have been more fitting...

Stupid Ignorant Humans- that's what happened

2. Tailgaters. They will get there 12 sec sooner by tailgating.
Not to mention the marketing issue, but I agree, people are stupid in crowds.

3. Some culpability belongs to stores
that have sucker bait sales, huge sales on understocked items.

People know they're sucker bait and that they have to get there early and sprint the fastest in order to score one of the items.

It's a recipe for disaster. I'm just a little surprised this sort of thing doesn't happen more often.

Most big retailers are guilty of setting up these conditions. It's not just Wally's.

9. I see lines of customers outside of Apple and Niketown...
all the time, and I also see STAFF from those stores, working the lines, giving customers numbers, taking names, and just generally ensuring that there's going to be some logic and order once the doors are unlocked. Failure to manage crowds does, in my mind, make Wally responsible for the damage done by those crowds.

8. Stores need to step it up.
They need to install remote controlled 1.5" thick steel doors.

Then once the herd gets through the doors they have to navigate through narrow corrals.

11. There's plenty of blame to go around
But when one of the hated entities of the board is involved, they are the ones who are going to take it.
