I won't ever change my mind on that. There MUST be accountability. There MUST be consequences - if we're to avoid having to endure this extreme kind of abuse of power from an arrogant self-styled dictator again.

4. for many many reasons
least of which is that if the bush admin and neocons are not held accountable for crimes, many americans will not accept or even realize a crime has been committed. this leaves the door wide open to future crimes by admin , because no precedent has been set.
and that includes ALL admin, including dems.

6. Agreed...
...but keep in mind, if they impeached him in the House bust failed to get conviction in the Senate, Bush would be legally absolved of his crimes, and could not be tried for them again. Which would mean he'd get off scot-free.

That's how I understand it, at least...
