Interesting Repub question I read in another forum
"How will republicans reconcile the need to get more non white votes with the need to hold onto their white base who is threatened and scared of people of color?"

2. They need a powerful wedge issue...
to jam between the blacks and whites. I am sure they are working on it as I post.

3. Their leaders need to cowboy up and act like grownups.
Come up with real issues to run on that people give a shit about, and try to reassure "their base" that not all of those people of color are bad people.

Like THAT'll ever happen. I really think they've hatefested themselves into oblivion. One can hope.

5. Focus on Common Issues
I think it starts with women. Hold Women's Forums with Focus on Family, with a religious tone and an integrated audience.

When black and white women find common ground, amazing things are possible.

6. I can't see Repubs changing their ways even if
their kids interracially married and bore grandkids "of color".
