4. He wasn't accurate at all. I was disappointed in his angle on the story.
One of the three was a trampled employee of a Walmart.

The other two shot each other over a long standing feud.

Despite Jon's spin on the frenzied shopping story, none were killed over their own personal shopping frenzy.

5. I was a little surprised...
...that his take on the whole ordeal didn't get more criticism here on DU.

I'm not one of those overly emotional types, but he did seem to be pretty heartless when talking about the whole situation. I thought to myself, "man, what if I was related to the guy that got trampled, and I happened to be watching this show?"

It was kinda tasteless. He was almost laughing when he said three people died, and people in the crowd were laughing and clapping.
