And all the schmuck can say is, "I'm Sorry".

Fuck George W. Bush and the fake horse he rode in on.

1. He didn't even say sorry
He said he's "sorry it happened" he didn't even take responsibility.

3. There was a story on the news last night about a guy going after Lehman ex-execs
...for a similar reason; he lost most of his earnings and savings because of the negligent, criminal acts of the executives who still walked away with billions of dollars. He said part of those billions are his, the execs essentially stole the money from he and other investors, and he wants it back.

Should be an interesting case.

In other words, he's off the hook for the rest of his life. Must be nice.

6. My sister is in software sales, and she said the same thing.
Budgets were frozen for many of her clients in September. She's not sure if her forecasted deals will close in Q4 for the same reason. She's worried about being laid off, but aren't we all? :-(

7. Join the crowd!
I lost about $300K in the market.....so far! I've got time and confidence it will come back, so I'm not hurtin. That was retirement money. I'm already retired, have been for going on nine years, but I did not live off of that money. I have other investments. I was planning on using it to buy a class A motorhome and touring the U.S. for about a year. When gas got so high, I put those plans on hold. Now that it is reasonable again, the damned money is gone. I'm only 53, so I have time.
