I think Billo's days at Faux are numbered
Rupert doesn't give two shits about Billo. Billo is hired help and as such, expendable. Rupert's a ruthless bottom line guy. His 'feud' with Billo is prelude to Billo's spending more time with the family. Roger Ailes' anger at Billo is maybe more genuine. It will make it easier for him to play his assigned role - that of executioner.

This has everything to do with two specific issues: cost and changing Faux's editorial bent to a more moderate, right of center posture.

This is just my own supposition. No link.

1. I thought he just signed a 4 year multi-million dollar contract? Do
they detest him enough to buy out the contract?

Rupert didn't become the Evil Emperor of Media by playing nice and fair. Or is that fair and balanced?

5. Is it me, or...
Is Billo looking like 5 miles of underdeveloped road these days? Looks like he is gargling with MD 20/20 in the morning and having Gin on his cornflakes.

6. That seems very doubtful. O'Reilly & Hannity are the bread and butter for Fox "News".

8. well let's see, Bill-o obviously has no morals clause in his contract and he probably
generates ad revenue so unless people stop buying whatever they are selling in those commercials i'd say Bill-o is safe.

12. I dunno.
Maybe they're going to recruit a really young, really good-looking intern who's going to go on the job very soon, and let events take care of themselves.
