These people have lost their minds, or whatever it was that they called their minds. They are positively flailing, glomming onto anything and everything they can. It's actually driving me a bit nuts.

I don't even know where to begin, trying to describe my encounters with "conservatives". Today it's this whole nonsense about Obama buying some kind of ring. I also had it out with one person, whom I believed to have some connection to reality. I just had to let her have it because she was clearly invoking thinly veiled racist rhetoric. She did not like that. Well, I don't like racism. It is what it is.

It is unbelievable.

I can't tell you how proud I am that a black man won because of his unquestionable domination in intelligence, decency, & common sense. It wasn't because of any default reason; it was his ability that won. Even if the Republics resorted to election fraud, Obama still won.

I don't rub it in with those who voted for an idiot, but if they brought up that type of nonsense, I'd probably comment on the many crimes that the boy king got away with for 8 years & that Obama's buying a ring doesn't affect me in any way.

But their hatred extends well beyond racism. They hate "Liberals", and as Goebbels said "We decide who is Jewish" they decide what and who "Liberal" is.

Their ideology is most certainly perverse.

I am eager to see them evolve as I am ashamed of my fellow countrymen. I imagine them evolving into something more benign and constructive. I am probably fooling myself.

Well I too am very proud of our President Elect. The glass is more than half full, to be certain. Now I hope and pray that the Democrats do this the right way. I hope we can peel off the less hateful rightists so that we can all start rowing the boat in the same direction again.
