Can someone explain the $600/$1200 Stimulas Check?
I just read that I have to declare the $600 as "income" and pay taxes on it. Also... I have to pay back the original $600 I received? Is this correct?

2. Thanks for that link----most helpful. By the way,I got $599.00
which I thought was quite funny.

Didn't stimulate my spending---went right in the bank.

4. Thanks for the link. It looks better than I thought.
I didn't get much mileage from that check. It went right in the gas tank when gas was above $4 a gallon.

Now, it's a double blow if I have to hassel with mounds of stupid IRS paperwork for a lousy $600 Bucks.

Republician "trickle down" is more like a "drip". (not even a steady drip)

3. It's tax money given to tax-payers to give to the oil companies for gas.
That's about it!
