I hate ATT
I have had an account w/ them for years .... they have shut
down my account (now back on) 5 times for not paying on
the exact date over the last 8 months .... I have a small biz
and have let it go fro 2 or 3 months and paid it up no problem
over the past 15 years.

They spy on us for bush, they pay off people like Jay Rockefeller
to get them out of any criminal problems for their spying,
lay off 4% of their people before christmas, and now they are
being real pricks about billing.

When I find a way to transfer my biz # to my cell phone I am
dumping them.

yes. they suck rocks. Have you called them? I go crazy trying to get thru their piece of shit voice recognition menu system.

Drives me up the freaking wall. By the time you actually get to talk to someone you are good and PISSED.

ATT: "would you like to speak to an agent? please say agent"
ME: agent
ATT: "I dont understand, please say what you wish to talk about"
ME: AGENT!
ATT: "I dont understand, please try using a different word, for example... blah blah"
ME: FUCKING AGENT! AGENT! AGENT!

4. I worked for one of their call centers.
Man did we get a lot of shit from people who would get their phones cut off for not paying for months. Even had people swear at me while I tried to help them...like I personally cut off their phones.

There was this one guy who did gigabytes of downloading with no data plan, and then yelled at me because he had a 1000 dollar phone bill.

5. I hate ATT too
Just had an ATTrotious experience with these idiots. Took two weeks to have a phone installed. Was on hold a total of 60 minutes on five different ocassions. Got five different reasons why phone couldn't be installed when promised. Promised three times it would be installed on a certain date and it wasn't. Said I never gave them a contact phone number when I had. Would have used some other company if I could have (phone was going into a retirement home.) Customer service is a dead concept.

6. Look into T-mobiles new plan...
my wife and I just switched from at&t. I was so happen to jettison them. we were paying a small fortune every freaking month. On T-mobiles plan, we are paying ten bucks a month (plus taxes) for free local and free long distance. This is not cell, this is a home based phone plan. And the guy at the store told me that they are more than likely going to roll out an internet plan after the first of the year. I can also say goodbye to those crooks timewarner as well.

BTW, if you need a home or business phone, see if TDS is available in your area. They're a small CLEC who gives wonderful bennies to their employees.

Can't vouch for whether they are blue or red, but I know they treat their employees well, which is saying something in this economy.
