.... what Idiot Son and his Xanaxed lumpinthebed have to say as they 'reflect' on the last eight years.

People ONLY care about when the motherfucker is going to jail.

1. Did they feel compelled to blab in front of a camera today?
I wondered why the market took a dive a day before the bad news comes out.

2. Poor Laura. She is so much smarter than her husband, and
she had to take a back seat all these years so that he could look good.

She looked awful at the Gibson interview, and I wonder what really goes on behind closed doors. Not a happy woman at all.

3. A cuckolded spouse usually does.
I'm sure she knows everything about her idiot and contradicta.

Once upon a time, I read an article (probably from a link here) that described bush as tending to surround himself with women who are completely enthralled by him, potty over him, even yes - in love with him. Poor Laura was listed here. So was contradicta. So was karen hughes. AND harriet miers. Women who love him, enable him, make excuses for him, and do their best to cover for him and clean up after him. He charms them or some such thing, or maybe their among those women who are just big suckers for a "cowboy." Even an alleged phony-as-a-three-dollar-bill "cowboy" like he is. And after a few years of that, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if one or more of these hapless unfortunate wenches fell for him all the way into bed. Or maybe across the desk. Or over on the sofa or the big easy chair in some office of his - either in the White House, the pig farm, or perhaps even back in Austin (harriet and karen especially). You know, those late nights, those long stifling meetings, the need for relaxation and respite, leavened with a plaintive little dash of "my wife doesn't understand me."

I've suspected this for a LONG time, just anyway. Just factoring in human nature and human foibles in the case of a "man" who has many such foibles and character flaws and other assorted weaknesses, plus a highly-compromised "conscience" (what's left of it).

5. I saw her on MTP, and she was talking about what she wants to
accomplish in Afghanistan. I think she could be an effective agent for social change there, and in bringing education and relief to women. I'm glad she has already set up her organization for this.

I'd feel sorry for her except that she gets a pretty big payoff for staying with that warmongering fool.

4. I care sort of
If they were truly honest with themselves and introspective then it would be very interesting. However having heard one interview into this going away tour I can safely say they aren't deep enough people to actually generate interesting interviews.

6. If only. Infuriatingly, many USAers are still easy prey for the coyote trickster's black magic.

These interviews are his chance to lure the former faithful back into the fold, along with the never-ever-gave-up-on-him faithful. Karl Rove has not lost his power, either. Together, they have a chance to rewrite their storybook to have a gloriously happy beginning, middle, and end. And Laura's "positive" tome will be ghostwritten by Rove, either directly or by his mojo hand.
