...... cheap clothing will be in demand as everyone gets so skinny they need pants that don't fall off.

1. You're also going to see an increase in upscale labels in 2nd hand shops and on ebay as
certain classes "lighten the load".

3. yeah, after I get laid off on Dec. 31, I anticipate losing unwanted pounds.
and eventually losing my house, my marriage, and who knows what else.

4. Hang in there. Not everyone loses everything when they lose their job.
My husband has been unemployed for about 6 months and I love him even more now that he needs me so much.

:hug: its a rough time for me, mentally, right now. I've never been without a position in over 20 years. I"m trying to be positive, but its hard.

7. Our two local thrift shops are packed every day while all our outlet stores are dead.
No one is shopping here and this is where southern New England comes for deals. Route 16 is empty. Settler's Green is empty. There isn't even any merchandise on the racks like there used to be. My SIL and I went looking for a winter coat yesterday--7 stores--nothing. Meanwhile, the Gibson Center Thrift Store is packed.
