The Disassembling of the Potemkin Ranch...
For 9 years, we have seen the Bush "Ranch" in narrow shots of correspondents posing before the hay bale tipped-so-carefully-from-the-trailer. No one in his right mind would be fooled by this except for about 150 million Americans.

It's almost, but not quite, unbelievable that the MSM would report daily from this farcical establishment and never ever say that this was simply another lying prop in a whole Administration full of lying props. It was emblamatic of all that was wrong with these Professional Dissemblers.

1. Kerry hunted for 50 yrs and corpmedia treated it as a 'never hunted before photo op'.
And all the while they were talking up the straight-talking, cowboy/jet pilot knowing full well he was a lying fraud afraid of horses and landing planes.

2. Are there ANY real photos of the "ranch"?
Surely somebody has taken pics of what it all really looks like?

4. The cattle were rentals .... trucked in for when bush was in town.

A DUer who has family in the area wrote that the bulls were nuetered
and that the manure was hauled away so the place didn't have too much
of a "ranch smell." The media knew the thing was a fake but pushed the story
anyway.

The place was bought in 1998 and built in 1999 w/ Enron over seeing
the construction ... Hell, it wasn't done until Jan. 2001. Pickles will not
set foot in it again and I doubt that W will keep it except maybe as "his
house" w/ Laura living in Dallas.

Wiki on "the ranch"

In 1999 shortly after earning a $14.3 million profit from the sale of the Texas Rangers,
Texas Governor Bush bought the land for an estimated $1.3 million from the Engelbrecht family.

5. In about two months
The popular media will deem it safe to say that Prairie Chapel was nothing but a prop in two months. It's not quite okay yet. But then the tone will be "of course, everyone knew this all along, and only rubes were taken in."

6. I think it is somewhat appropriate that it was a hog farm
prior to boosh buying it.
It is also ironic that the house is supposedly built to be totally green, but the sombitch turned down the kyoto accords.

10. And the media played right along.....it always infuriated me when
the network and cable reporters did their stand-ups in the same exact spot....right in front of that old red tractor and hay bales.

Maybe we can get George Soros to buy it and turn it into the "Shadow Bush Library."
