This man may not be personally responsible but since he has been President of this country, our country has been attacked by terrorists, knocking down the World Trade Center and putting a big hole into our Pentagon Building. These were the symbols of American capitalism and militarism around the world.

After that disaster, he decided to invade a sovereign country and to send prisoners that were captured in the invasion, to other countries to be tortured. This practice of rendition led to dishonor and lack of credibility around the world. In the process, we lost over 4200 American lives and caused millions of people to flee their country. In the violence that ensued, hundreds of thousands of people were killed.

Not only that, he brought a philosophy into the White House which prevented him from ever raising taxes to pay for anything, even a war that went on for almost 6 years. He ran up our national debt to over $10 trillion dollars and fought any regulations that might hinder his business friends. In the end, we were plunged into a worldwide recession and perhaps, a long depression. Millions of jobs were lost and the economic system collapsed under the weight of its own freedom.

But is it fair to blame it on only one man? No, probably not. But it is fair to give him the lion's share of the blame. He can run but he cannot hide. His legacy is hot on his tail.
