It's Getting Nasty Down in Texas: Kay Bailey Hutchison Vs. Rick Perry

Texas governors have to be careful what they wish for; sometimes they might get it.

"Bring it on," he said, echoing his predecessor.

Well, it's been brought, so to speak. Yesterday, Hutchison announced her filing of paperwork to form an exploratory committee to look at the possibility of a gubernatorial run.

5. Why would she abandon a U.S. Senate seat for that job?
Of course, I hope she does. I'd rather that the Democratic candidate not run against an incumbent, but this is odd to me.

The United States is a LIBERAL Country.

10. Bill White, mayor of Houston
He enjoys bipartisan love. He kicked ass during Hurricane Ike. He was present and directing things very, very well.

But the freeps were talking on KTRH (our Clear Channel "news" station) on a RW talk show yesterday, how they luuuuv Rick because they are "conservative." But Rick got our biggest taxpayer boondoggle of all rolling and was pushing it through in spite of a demand for a referendum--the TransTexas Corridor--that would take hundreds of thousands of private, rich farmland (some of the best on the planet) by eminent domain. He is the biggest whore in Texas and those idiots who would vote for him are some stupid, stupid people.
