Ken Blackwell (former Ohio Secretary of State during 2004 presidential elections & failed gubernatorial candidate) announced today that he's running for Chair of the Republican National Committee.

So they called on the man who delivered Ohio to Bush in '04. Funny, I think a large reason Ohio went for Obama in '08 is because people here had had it with Blackwell and they voted NOT to make him governor (his attempts as SoS to get Strickland's name taken off the ballot so he could run unopposed failed) and they also voted to make an honest woman, Jennifer Brunner, his successor as SoS. Largely thanks to her and her bravery, we got much closer to a clean election.
