Creepy to see DU using adverts of retinal/fingerprint scan ID's
"Clear Registered Traveler - now you can fly through airport security", an advert for a service that takes your retinal and fingerprint scan, checks out your record(I hope) and gives you a card with that data on it. You then take it to a kiosk, scan your fingerprint or retina, and a coincierge will come to whisk you past lines of people, past security.

Talk about Big Brother, talk about the class society. There may be a need to check for weapons but I don't know if I agree with not having EVERY passenger do the same thing.

not to mention the possibility of having a hack to this, and someone getting on. Might be better to have a human doing this.

2. I use my Cloak of Invisibility
Gets me right through the security lines. I take it off in a mens' room inside the security area.

Bought it in Diagon Alley.

6. None of the above...
Only Magic is required. There's a spell, but it's a secret.

4. Well worth $5-10 every few months to NOT SEE ads on DU!
Paid membership does have its privileges, of which ad-free viewing is only one of many. :D

8. Thanks for the advice, I will. Nix the sarcasm, however, little boy.

10. Forgive me, I really misread you, and am sorry for being a prick,...
...having a really bad day. No reason to take it out on you.

11. Thank you.
And I was thoughtlessly insensitive, as well, for which I hope you forgive me.

Things will get better.
Hang in there. :fistbump:

5. Silverweb (posr #4) is correct, however, it's alwasy a good thing to point out those ads ...
... to the moderators.

They can do something about them, but only after they know about them.

12. I've already been fingerprinted a brazillion times in two states
(I have been certified to teach in 2 states), yet after losing my wallet containing my drivers license and social security card, wish me luck getting my drivers license, or my SS card replaced without endless red tape and hassles.

"Big Brother" is too incompetent to even work.

I think I will like the retinal scans.
