5. That would be a problem for Obama's legacy if these folks go free
so I don't think that is going to happen. If they have done all these things I've been reading these last few year that they have done then the day of reckoning will come. My worry is living long enough to see it happen not if it will ever happen.

3. I know most here have to be getting tired of reading that I think none of them will walk freely
away from all this but thats what I feel. Maybe momentarily they/he will but I trust that we will remain through all this a government of laws and not of men. Thats tells me that dick and w and all the rest will be giving their day in court. I believe that with all my being.

6. I see that here and elsewhere too
Obama is here to make changes and turning his back on all this criminality is not change. I say we all need to get behind this new chance and embrace it like our lives depended on it. We have to work to help not just to question his every move.

16. As long as I'm alive and until I've been beaten completely down I will continue with hope
I love my country and I don't think a band of crooks are stronger that we are. We will either bring these crooks to task for all this or we will have lost our country, simple as that. There is simply no two ways about it. Thats my read anyway

8. except'n we have a new sheriff in town
and he doesn't seem to me to be the kind to turn his back on us the people. Of which he would be doing if these criminals walk away from all this as free people.

13. I would think that the strategy right now is to cool heals
until we get them out of any semplence of control. Them being the war criminals etc.

15. I really want to believe
that PE Obama is waiting until he's sworn in to immediately say, maybe in his inauguration speech, that accountability is on the table. That investigations and prosecutions will take place, if warranted. I really want to believe it. Can you imagine the collective sigh of relief in this nation if we have a leader that works for us, and our country's good name (what's left of it)? After the past 8 years, it's hard to keep the faith. Your sincere conviction helps a lot, though. :hi:

14. Thats what I think too
Cheney is the dangerous one, hes the ghoul with the plan, bushie is dangerous in the fact he is easy and will do anything asked of him in this fight for the heart of our democracy. This whole mess is soon to be exposed for what it is. I just hope I manage to stay here and to keep my senses so I can relish in the bringing down of very dangerous cabal.

19. He won't slink - he'll just stroll... & of course there will be hints of scandal and crime
because there already has been hints (and ever so much more) of scandals and crimes over the last 8 years...but he'll still stroll on out of office
