I met Mike Malloy in San Francisco Friday night!

I was visiting Bullwinkle925 in the Bay Area, and Mike came to town courtesy of Green 960. We got in to see him and participate in a Q&A session. I asked him why the hell he lives in Atlanta when he hates the racist idiots in Georgia. I told him my husband is always urging me to call him on the show to ask that. He said the city of Atlanta is trying to be progressive and that people are trying to work things out so they can all get along; also, mountains and the beach aren't that far. His wife is from Decatur, too.

He signed my journal and posed for a photo with me afterward. We would have stayed to try to chat longer, but my niece texted me during the program and said a deer had just run into her car, so we were preoccupied with worrying about her. I appreciated Bullwinkle's patience - we've had a very busy week and I know she was tired and worried about her daughter, but she stayed with me until the end so I could get his autograph and picture. (We knew Bullwinkle925 Jr. was being picked up by her friend - we took BART in and didn't have our car, so there wasn't much we could do anyway.)
