Corn Subsides. Who is on this list?
The subject of corn subsidies will be coming up in the new Administration.

Many believe that corn subsidies are driving our diets, leading to obesity and poor nutrition. What is spent to push corn into our diets (not to mention our gas tanks)could provide better food. Because a surplus of corn is produced with subsidies, a use must be made of it so that

Most interesting is the amount that the megafarmers are taking from subsides. I know that small farmers think that subsidies help them, but the program is really a reward for the big farmers who never see a field unless they fly over it.

1. Actually, it's not subsiding, it's increasing. But I know what you mean about the subsidies.

I'm sorry, family farmer, but if you need more than $1 million a year from the gov't just to stay in business, maybe you shouldn't be in that business.

Riceland Foods Inc has rec'd over half a BILLION over the last 10 years? Yes, there's something wrong with this system...
