Edited on Mon Dec-08-08 10:16 AM by Philosoraptor
The Supreme Court just rejected an idiot who was trying desperately to prove that Obama isn't an actual American citizen.

8. Exactly.
I suspect even the asshat that is Clarence Thomas allowed it to go to the full court conference just to nip this in the bud once and for all. It can now no longer be pushed.

12. That's exactly why he did it
IIRC the asshole submitted the case to Souter and upon being told to fuck off decided that handing it to a more friendly and much more assholic judge such as C. Thomas may get him a better outcome. Thomas received it decided hell no and submitted it to the court so the asshole would quit submitting his tinfoil had idiocy.

4. Good, But A Heads Up To Right-Wing Lurkers
I'm glad that that fool's lawsuit was tossed out of court.

To the right-wingers who were thinking of making a donation to that fool's cause: give to a food bank or a homeless shelter. It's good karma and you'll feel better this holiday season.

:patriot:

13. Wasn't his mother from Kansas? Doesn't that and being born in the U.S. make him American?
I guess I should look at the crazy people's assertions, but it's not worth my energy. I'm not a Supreme Court Justice who obviously has all the time in the world to piss away.

14. Aren't these the same people who constantly complain about our "litigious society"?
They're the ones clogging up the courts, especially when they can't win elections legitimately - or even steal them.

16. I wish I'd been one of the justices. I would have said, for the record:
"Are you fucking kidding me with this horseshit? Get the fuck outta my courtroom before I have you fucking disbarred, you craptacular shyster!"

I'm sure one day, the transcript of that remark would be on display in the National Archives. B-)
