"The abuse of detainees at Abu Ghraib in late 2003 was not simply the result of a few soldiers acting on their own," the executive summary said.

I have friends that went through Navy SERE school. It wasn't pleasant for them, but they weren't waterboarded, either. The comment that the techniques were "derived" from SERE program seems disengenuous to me. Those people in Abu Ghraib were humiliated and tortured.

This sort of shit will continue through the ages if we don't make an example of people like that evil Rumsferatu.
