1. Just like they were remembered after the 1920's disaster
People will get back on their feet, and spit in the faces of the Dems that brought our country back. Happens every time.

People want to party with the Repukes until the whole house is broken up and in disarray...then, when all the Repuke guests leave, and Mom and Dad will be coming home soon, people call on the Dems to help clean up the mess before the parental units arrive.

Once everything's hunky-dory, they want to party with the Repukes again.

2. You imagine people will give a shit
We'll get eight years of prosperity under Obama, and then the Republicans will claim it was all Bush's doing after all (like how the economy under Clinton was the work of Ronald Reagan's diaper-soiling ass) and all will be forgiven by the American public, because the novelty of a Democrat has worn off and they want to "get back to sanity"... Just like every other fucking election.

Sorry. In a mood tonight.

3. Well, I voted "F."
But I wanted to add that it was both this party and administration that inflamed the Middle East, when every previous president (especially Carter and Clinton) attempted to broker peace there...x(

5. Probably about as much as the Whig Party is remembered today -
something to be memorised for a history test.
Their largest distinguishing event it the financial disaster currently beginning. After that is the disregard and contempt for the Constitution and after that is institutionalized recism for nearly a century.

Great record, guys. Surprised you made it as long as you did.

9. As the American Fascist Party
Which they literally have been since the Hitler-funding Bush Crime Family took over.

10. So true.
If modern GOPers knew their history, they would not be surprised at how far they've moved from their "ideals."

But, alas their history is wiped clean by their talk radio morans.

11. The cockroaches will fondly remember them...
as the people who finally rid the earth of those pesky humans.
