Question for Ohio DUers
How long did Rethugs control the seat won by Mary-Jo Kilroy? I know that Pryce held it since 1992.
I've heard virtually no comment about this victory. Apparently even Newt doesn't know that she beat the Rethug Stivers.

1. It has been since @ least the 1950s in GOP hands
Chalmers P Wylie had it since the bronze age.

The is a big pick up .... we had to beat a very gerrymandered district
to win Ohio 15

3. Metro Columbus had been gerrymandered into 3 GOP-dominant districts
The Republicans were also able to gerrymander metropolitan Cincinnati into two GOP-dominant districts. My (other) impression was that Deborah Pryce, R, was a pretty strong incumbent.

The sweetest victory was in 2006 when Zach Space took Bob Ney's conservative district.

4. in 2008 Pryce was not running

she barely won in 2006 ..... EES machines .... Pyrce won by 1,000 votes
after exit polls showed Kilroy won .... Pyrce knew she would lose in 2008
