1. Tariffs Protect Jobs
Edited on Fri Dec-12-08 10:04 AM by Phred42
Tariffs financed the United States for Most of it's existence

All industrialized countries EXCEPT the US use Tariffs to protect THEIR industries and their economies.

Globalization is a Fraud put forth by the trans-national Corporations and the top 1% for THEIR benefit.

4. Amen.
Perhaps it will take some real pain like a Lost Decade that Japan experienced in the 90s for tarriffs to finally make a comeback.

2. We need value-added sales taxes for crap imported cheap and sold at prices
comparable to what the price of products manufactured in the US would be.

And we can put many unemployed folks to work just policing the safety and sale of imports.

3. I bleeping hope so.
Globalism, as practiced in the last 20th- early 21st C, is a corrupt
scheme to break good government, environmental protections, and labor, to turn the world into a company store.

But the sheeple bleat what Faux, CNN, and all the hired pricks of the MSM have been shoving at them since before Bush I.
They continue to believe it, and the MSM keeps shovelling it.

The longer it goes on, the more CEOs and news readers will end up hanging from light poles later.

But that is not a problem as far a I see it now. The Right needs to see what total failure looks like.
