Man sprays 'toilet-papering' teens with fox pee
WILLMAR, Minn. - A 50-year-old man who told authorities he was fed up with teens toilet-papering his house decided to defend his property — with a squirt gun filled with fox urine.

Now, Scott Wagar is in trouble with the law.

Wagar pleaded not guilty on Wednesday in Kandiyohi County District Court to misdemeanor assault and other charges. He was released on personal recognizance.

According to police, Wagar was on his property Sept. 16 when he used night vision goggles to see 15-20 people running toward his place. He told police that he told them to leave, swore at them and sprayed them with the fox urine. He also allegedly struggled with one of the teens.

At least he didn't shoot them.

35. Who knows?! Teenagers do dumb things.
My friends and I in high school once rolled a house because one of my friends had a crush on the guy that lived there.

Regardless I see why the man was fed up and what he did doesn't sound harmful. Even the neighborhood Scrooge doesn't deserve to have his property repeatedly vandalized.

15. You can buy fox urine by the bottle at some livestock supply stores
I opened up a bottle of either fox urine or mountain lion urine at our feed store just to find out how strong this stuff is. Damn, but it's pungent! If you're not careful, the smell will stay in your nostrils for a week.

17. Sporting goods stores
have varieties of bottled compounds that are or emulate different animal urines as either a repellant or attractant for whatever your prey is. I'm sure he got it at a sporting goods store.

Good on him for using a nonharmful way of dealing with the kids.

After years of trying various solutions, Coyote urine is the only thing that works to keep raccoons out of my garden and trashcans. :)

40. It's pretty cheap to try it out.
I think we spent less than $20 on urine and "scent darts"--which are really just cotton balls glued to a stick. :)

Before the Time of Urine, the raccoons would open our locking, magnetic cat door (!), come into the kitchen, and eat an entire bag of cat food overnight. It certainly tested my patience.

One thing to keep in mind is that your pets may react strongly to the coyote urine, because...well, it's predator pee. But luckily, our cats only freaked out for about 2 days.

44. I swear to Dawg that raccoons are the Mafia of the animal world
A couple of times in my life I lived close to wooded areas (even though I was in inner ring suburbs) and would occasionally catch the critters in my garage or trying to get into garbage cans. They just stood there and looked at me with a "Youse gots a problem wit' me? And whatcha gonna do about it?" look on their faces. A raccoon will eat or steal anything that isn't nailed down, and so help me, I think they pry up the stuff that is nailed down.

47. One of my cats was convinced that he was The Raccoon Avenger!
And as a result, we had to take him to the vet TWICE to deal with the resulting puncture wounds. We did everything we could to keep him indoors when the raccoons were active outside, but he'd find a way to sneak out a briefly open door or whatnot, and make a beeline for wherever the raccoons were hiding.

Of course, his courage only went so far: Both of the puncture wounds were on his rear end.

I'm going straight to hell for that one....

I wouldn't have any problem with a couple of kids doing it a time or two just for fun, but really 20 is too many.

Because the thought of all those foxes being forced to drink Earl Grey all day...the horror...

On reflection, I guess they get it from furriers who farm foxes for their fur. That's BLOOD URINE.

If you TP you have to accept the risk of someone also pranking you.You cannot complain when you are doing something wrong and someone gives you a taste of your own medicine. This is coming from a tper from way back.We accepted that if we got caught there were going to be repercussions including possible ass whoppins.
