Did Hell freeze over? Is Bush about to actually do something right?
Is he actually going to use TARP money to bail out the auto industry long enough for Obama to take office? Is Bush of all people actually going to do something useful?

What's the catch? There's always a catch.

4. Probably there will be another catch.
The first catch was the forced Senate vote giving the lame duck repukes yet another victory and making Reid look like a weakling.

The other reason is that W. is very much afraid that he will be viewed by history as another Hoover.

It IS rather shocking that Bush, just days away from ending two miserable terms during which he got nothing, absolutely NOTHING right, might be aiming to hit one out of the park.
