WJ this morning - The Auto loan
of course it's being called bail out.
Anyone who believes Bush is going to bail them out without sinking the workers doesn't know Bush.

4. Actually Now It's Kicking The Can...
Here's the rub I have with the term "loan"...that assumes there's a clear plan on how the money is to be paid back in a time specific period. If I can't show I can afford my house, or if I go to the bank for a business loan and don't show how I'm gonna be able to pay it back, I get laughed out the door.

This issue isn't about big 3 "profitability"...but about just keeping them afloat and hope one day that they can turn thing around. If "bail out" is too painful a term, then how about "investment". I don't see any loan being repaid any time soon, nor should that be the most important thing here.

As always, the GOOP callers have this 8 year amnesia...somehow this crappy economy just "happened" and surely it was the Democrats fault...thus the answer is "Neo-Hooverism". I'm just grateful these shitstains will have less say and power in a couple weeks. Too bad it took this long.

6. There's an status-quo media whore from politico.com on now.
Edited on Sat Dec-13-08 08:04 AM by ShortnFiery
Remember "Dear Leader" promoted politico.com during one of his infamous pressers AS SOON AS it slithered out from under an elite D.C. journalistic ROCK a mere few years ago? :puke:

Positive or negative to the democratic party, I place little to no veracity in poltico.com.

7. Bloodsport Gossip Sheet
I'm with you, when this thing began a couple years ago, it was formed by Joe Albritton, right wing TV station owner along with two boooshie WAPO shills...Vandehei and Mike Allen. I've never trusted them...they have and will blow with the beltway winds and print first, verify later.

That said, their stenographer isn't buying the Obama guilt by association game the right wing is trying to spread.
