What are the chances that Bush will ever apologize as Nixon did in the Frost/Nixon interviews?
It was the pivotal moment of the Famous Frost/Nixon interviews of 1977, when Frost put aside his clipboard of questions and frankly told Nixon that one of the things he had to do or he would regret it for the rest of his life was apologize to the American people. Frost never thought Nixon would do so, but amazingly he did say this:

"I let down my friends. I let down my family. I let down the country. I let down our system of government. I let the American people down, and I have to carry that burden with me for the rest of my life."

What are the chances that Bush will ever say anything comparable after his eight years reign of terror/error?

1. Nil
That kind of remorse requires someone who has depth of feeling and compassion. He has neither.

2. any apology will be one of those non apology apologies
things like "i'm sorry if anyone got hurt, i didn't intend for that to happen" "i'm sorry if what i said wasn't the truth, at the time i thought it was" etc.

and then a bunch of crap about his faith in God and other shit.

7. I think you're right on that one
He'll do something like that down the road in a friendly interview with a Hannity or Limbaugh or similar.

6. Same as the chances of Hitler Apologizing.
The very same.

No more, and no less.

Anyone who thinks my statement is over-the-top? Please feel free to debunk it.

Where, exactly, is the lie, the deception in my post header?

8. He thinks he's a success!
Delusion and denial. Same as every one of these damned Republicans. Or maybe he is a success, assuming that his goal was to turn America into a third-world banana republic that exists solely for the benefit of the elite top 1%. If that was the plan, he's a big success.

9. A sincere apology or admission of guilt will never happen.

He could possibly do it some time in the future for the sake of appearance or to get himself an advantage that he might think at the moment would be a good strategic move. But honesty and sincerity is just not in the Boosh character makeup. Anyone who knows him well would know at the time that he is just doing it to get the best mileage out of the situation.

10. Never, he doesn't think he did anything wrong. He doesn't have a grasp on
re-vistiting the past. AND all of his advisors told him that everything he did was necessary and legal.

12. This Shitstick Thinks Things Just "Happen"
Edited on Sun Dec-14-08 09:44 AM by KharmaTrain
You listen (if you can stomache it), this shitstain's "reflections" and all the bad things that happened (or at least the one he's willing to admit were wrong) all just sorta kinda happened, that he was an innocent bystander to all that went on. It fits as this fukwad never has nor ever will accept responsibility and to admit he made a mistake is a "sign of weakness" (even though his inability to admit those mistakes is what doomed his petruid regime). Others did this to him...he had no control and it was someone elses fault. Complete, total denial.

Unlike Nixon, booooshie doesn't care what the public thinks and will live happily in his own Private Texas...a place where he is still great and his ultimate vindication is assured. No...this isn't a reference to the State of Texas...just his own state of mind. Again...here's a loser who has never succeded with anything in his life, made a complete mess of things that others had to clean up and he just moves on, oblivious.
