"THIS IS A FAREWELL KISS YOU DOG"
The demon shoe thrower yelled this at Booshe, a fitting tribute at the end of his Prezledenzy.

Shoes -- the new protest accessory to let the planet know you disdain corrupt and perverse anti-American Republicon Homelandery...

3. What if we start throwing shoes at these Rethuglicans who quashed the bridge loans
to the auto industry?

This guy will be a NATIONAL hero in Iraq, and I will be that before Booshe leaves, he gets more shoes thrown at him.

9. Where is this picture coming from - can't be already a protest - please explain
I'm so into doing a formal shoe sending protest, and hope for an organizer of it so it really makes a splash like in your picture all over the country.
Thought comes to mind, maybe the steps of all City Halls. Cheaper than mailing them, where they get tossed.

10. It looks like part of the "Eyes Wide Open" war protest.
They have or had a pair of boots representing every U.S. soldier killed in Iraq, and that pile of shoes representing the Iraqi dead.

11. Unfortounately, the entire display won't be shown together anymore.
The last time they were all in one place the number was in May of 2007. I'll never forget it; I helped to set them up in Chicago's Grant Park. There just got to be too many to haul around and to find a place big enough to display them, so the boots have been divided up and given to groups in the individual states. Here are a few pictures from that day - http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=6912&l=38fbf&id=1080221869
