"This is a gift from the Iraqis, this is the farewell kiss, you dog. "
From a poster over at Twitter...the (local?) media pool there translated the guy's comments:

"This is a gift from the Iraqis, this is the farewell kiss, you dog.
This is from the widows, the orphans and those who were killed in Iraq."

It was on page 3 or 4 of the below link..may be further down now, though

10. And such a human thing - this one little man, standing up to all the power
and massive might that we represent in that country.

13. I guess so! But what did he expect when he signed an agreement keeping troops there until 2011?!
The Iraqi people took to the streets because they wanted us gone, and that was in 2003! I remember starting a thread on it... And what is Obama supposed to do? Does he have to honor this?! Puts him in a bad position right from the get-go... :-(

8. Think of HOW pissed he is right now....wonder how bottles of Jim Beam he has gone thru already?
And you KNOW he is. His visit, no doubt was meant to be in the media cycle for a few days, it was going to be spun about how was welcomed and thanked, probably there are a few staged photo ops taken before this shoe throwing. And now...it ALL takes a back seat to this moment. That was caught on VIDEO, no less, that went viral across the 'net and the world before that second shoe hit the ground behind him. Hope his aircraft is well stocked with Jim Beam for the ride home to the States.

14. I suspect that moment will summarize not only this trip, but Bush's
Iraq "adventure" in general. It's a perfect symbol for the whole mess, and perfectly timed.
