I'm still working to get to the point where I can read or watch American media again so someone will have to fill me in. Are the U.S. talking heads grasping the difference between an Islamic and an Arabic insult?

So far the international press I've been chuckling over seems to understand fully this is an Arabic insult to President Bush and not an Islamic one. Just curious if our media is making the same distinction.
