You'd have to be Helen Keller to have gotten hit by those things, yet the shoefucks are acting as if he's ready to climb back into a cockpit and take on every Iraqi journalist in a Thom McAn dogfight.

1. I don't know - that guy had a wicked arm.
Accurate, too - those things went straight as a fastball.

12. Maybe that was the problem
Al-Zaidi's a right-hander and W was speechifyin' from the right.

He shoulda thrown a screwshoe so it'd break into him.

but I imagine he's had ample experience dodging flying crockery at home.

I do wonder, though, since he could not have known what the man was throwing, if he wet his pants.

in leading the world's most powerful nation than actual brains are. They'd much rather have a beer with their commander in chief than to know what his foreign policy positions might be.

5. Maybe the White House staff made him practice ducking just in case.
Or maybe he just kinda expected a flying object would be sent his way. Lucky for him it wasn't a cream pie, but of course that would waste a perfectly good pie...

17. Well, first,
it was probably the only hour that day Chimpy was sober; something I'm sure he had thoroughly corrected not long after the second shoe landed. Second, something tells me that professional duck of his probably came from years of experience ducking high-heels chucked by Pickles. That Xanax wears off sooner or later and if it was me and I had to live with that ass, I'd be chucking more than shoes. Just sayin'.

to him by reporters, so this was no surprise.

Typical reaction from him, too - duck, spin, smirk. Repeat as necessary.

Imagine a party so demoralized, so rejected, that the only thing they can praise their leader for is his ability to (essentially) dodge the tomatoes being thrown at him when he speaks.

31. One word - obfuscation
The pseudo victory lap has been fucked up with a metaphor of a perfect full stop.
This iconic event is a shoe-in (pardon the pun) for every book and movie about Bush's legacy-his last trip to Baghdad. This is the end - this is what Iraqis think of him and the entire planet laughed hysterically yesterday and are still laughing all now.

Fuck you George - you not so goodie goodie two shoes!
