Bowing to pressure from the GOP and Sen.Specter, the Senate Judiciary Committee
Bowing to pressure from Sen. Arlen Specter, the Senate Judiciary Committee has pushed back AG nominee Eric Holder's confirmation hearing about a week, from Jan. 8 to Jan. 15.

The extra week is needed so that the GOP has extra time to drag Holder's name through the mud and also gets the added benefit of pushing back Obama's agenda and Clinton's SoS nomination.

"Bowing to pressure from the GOP" should be the Democratic Party's new motto.

1. Ye cats and little fishes!
When will the Dems grow a spine? If they are bowing to pressure now, where will it end?

2. Won't that put the hearing in the 111th. Congress with more Democrats? Thought it begins on 1/6/09.

4. It does.
He still gets confirmed before Obama is inaugerated, it is just a week less prep with Mukasey.

3. At some point you have to realize that the
Party has played you for saps. The Democratic Party is behaving exactly as it wants to behave - it just uses the big, mean, old GOP as an excuse so the saps will keep sending money and support. It has always worked and it looks like it always will...
