It should not be too hard to peel away quite a few Republicans on this issue, especially those who are merely remaining silent.

Rove the the Bush White House are depending on the Hill Repubs to come together in support of Gonzales. Hopefully, Dems will publicly put them on notice that their continued support will be shown to be misplaced as Gonzales eventually leaves office.

1. I don't think that Gonzo has the Republican support that he needs.
The vote yesterday doesn't bode well for Mr. Gonzales.

2. I am...
surprised he's lasted this long, but think his resignation will come any day now. It's pretty easy to see how unethical his actions were.

3. I watched the juidciary committee. the republicans absolutely defended Bush.
100% Bush. they only voted for the subpoenas when conyers promised not to deliver the subpoenas yet.

4. The more Repubs that do not support Gonzales, the less support Bush will have with public
Bush's arrogance will work against him, and the more Dems can separate him from the Republicans still on Capitol Hill, the easier it will be to consolidate public support for full disclosure by the White House.
