1. There was just a "news" report on this very
subject. I am tired of all of this emphasis on shopping. Isn't the American addiction to shopping as a hobby what has gotten us in this mess?

3. I'm sickened that JC Penney chose "Door Busters" as its post-xmas sale theme.
After the Walmart worker in Valley Stream, NY was trampled by "door busters" at that store on the "first" Black Friday, you'd think some sensitivity and prudence would be in order by the ad agency handling JC Penney.
