1. I thought you might be talking about H.L. Mencken

Writer/columnist in the first half of the century in Baltimore. Look up "curmudgeon" and if there's any justice in the universe, his picture is there. Often wrote columns that tweaked the powers that be. He had a stack of postcards at the ready for folks who wrote to disagree with him (sometimes quite strenuously). The postcards were pre-printed with "You may be right." He would sign one and send it to his detractor.

If that isn't good enough for some DU members... then they need to do some soul searching.

I mean, if they think they haven't contributed to the ostracizing at DU, of other members

expense, then they need to be made aware of their MISTAKE.... because it's BS!

If DU is truly "open minded", then no one would get warning's!
