mile and a half radius has to evacuate in Ky. HAZMAT

http://hisz.rsoe.hu/alertmap/index.php?smp=&lang=eng

Area: USA, State of Kentucky, Corbin Ice Company, Corbin

Everyone within a mile-and-a-half radius of Corbin Ice Co. had to be evacuated for several hours Tuesday evening after an ammonia spill. The ice company on Cumberland Falls Highway uses ammonia to supercool water, but something happened to cause a leak in a tank, said James Ridener, a dispatcher for the Corbin Police Department. He estimated that 500 to 600 people were evacuated from homes and businesses around the company. The call about the spill came in at about 5:30 p.m., and the area was reopened at 9:09 p.m., Ridener said. The city used its outdoor warning system to alert people to the evacuation, and several locations opened to accept people displaced by the incident.

3. Oh, it's almost impossible to put a hazmat suit on an undrugged squirrel.
And that's the reason, officer, why I have these GHB-tipped blowdarts.

5. They freeze in their tracks at the sound of ABBA. It's like suspended
animation. It works, try it. You might find the look of terror disconcerting, but once the suit is on you can turn off the music.

They get a whiff and clear out.
When I worked for industrial electric company. The Munford cold storage company (majic market) had a big freezer facility was one of our regular customer.
Yak that ammonia was strong, when they had a leak you would see all the critters in the area flee.
Our shop was just up the street, and we could hear their warning buzzer.
