"It's Not About John Edwards" Elizabeth Edwards
It's about the American people and beating that woman in that Orwell comercial. Two truely amazing people John and Elizabeth, hope she can beat this thing. Hope they can beat the Clintons for the sake of our country!

4. Honestly the buzz about her is a complete media fabrication IMO
I'm from NY and I can't find a VW Bug full of NYers that like her. Her ascension to Senator is equally baffling to me.

After What the Clintons did with NAFTA
and their fair share of ruining manufacturing in my state of MI, she doesn't have many supporters here either.

to your hatered. Giventhat we have free speech and all, let it sufice to say I'd prefer you keep those nasty opinions to yourself.

9. We're not allowed to debate a candidate's merits or faults anymore?
Before the primary I might remind you. If Hillary is the choice I will hold my nose again and vote, but I won't be silent for it and I won't apologize for it.

11. Of course we can debate what's right or wrong with each candidate.
My response was to herbrown, not you. I just feel "abhore" doesn't belong in the conversation.

13. I never said abhor, I said loathe
And if it takes John Edwards and his campaign mgr David Bonior who are both very pro labor to help my working brothers out there to oust the Clinton political crackpot machine, I say more power to em'. I'm more than a little tired of the scripted campaigns and audiences Hilly brings to the table. And yes the Apple ad was from the Obama campaign, now you want to talk about being disingenuous.

thing the repubs tell me when they say "we're fighting over there so we can be safe over here". I'm happy, I'm happy that the Clinton republican lite political machine is running out of gas. Johnny Be Good! Remember the Democratic party was the labor party in this country, well it was before the Clintons got a hold of it..The Labor Party is back, Go Johnny Go David Bonior, we're taking our party back, I'm happy about that also.

And thank you for buying into the RW smear of HRC which is at the root of the ad, that she's a totalitarian bitch.

5. If I'm not mistaken wasn't the author working for the Obama campaign
in some capacity. Hardly the RW conspiracy.

6. Could we make this a moment of universal well-wishes, and not some god damned Two Minute Hate
of whatever boogeyman we dislike this week? And give that message to anyone you see who chooses now to bash Edwards, too, if there are any as classless as you.

20. I like your signature
Negative campaigns, especially within one's political affiliation, is disturbing.

There are things to like about each inside our pool of candidates. I hope that whoever gets the nomination, can incorporate some of the bested candidates ideas. Doing that, requires a willingness to listen to one's competition; Unfortunately, negative campaigns tend to limit listening, much less incorporation.

Significant change within our government is going to take a paradigm shift from campaign, to end of office. Beating each other up, as has been elevated to an art form lately, has solved nothing. How can there be change if political tactics remain the same?

8. Nice conference from J & E
I just watched the feed on RawStory, and my thoughts really go out to both of them.

Edwards still has my vote, and no it isn't about John.

they are sitting across the table from you. Down to the finishing each other's sentences and correcting each other.

12. Been One Of THEIR BIGGEST Supporters For A Very Very Long Time
now, and my heart goes out to them and their family. I am so very worried for her because if not for her I'm not sure I would be such a big supporter. She impressed me immensely throughout the last campaign and I have the utmost respect for her.

What a WONDERFUL First Lady she would be, I'm just so sorry that so many people are not able to see that certain "genuine" quality that comes through. Say what you will about John Edwards, and I've seen hundreds and hundreds of threads here attacking him, I remain in his corner.

What you see right now with them speaking directly and honestly gives me a certain HOPE that I really have lost so much of since 2000!

There are few other words to say other than for me they do seem to have a certain "warmth" that I don't see from many other candidates. I do like Obama a lot, but my preference would be that he be a VP first. I am sorry, and I'm not attacking her either... but I just can't feel that from Hillary. I suppose if that's the only choice we have I will be FORCED to vote for her, but I don't feel very much compulsion to campaign for Hillary in any way.

I LOVED Bill as a President, but Hillary has been all over the map, courting even many conservatives for what I can only assume is to appear to be more moderate. I think they call it "playing the game" and I'm sure EVEN Edwards is guilty, but both John & Elizabeth seem like they have their "heart" in this FOR AMERICA!

And no, I WILL NOT reply to those of you who want to argue with how I feel. I made a decision of sorts simply to let others do the carping because I find it far too offensive.... and that includes ALL of our candidates! I only mentioned Hillary because she is probably last on my list of our current candidates, but I'm not a back stabber even when it comes to her. She's just not my cup of tea.

I like Obama, Richardson, love Dodd and Biden... think Kucinich is my kind of Liberal and speaks his mind, but still I'm on the Edwards Band-Wagon and have been longer than most people.

I'm going to write Elizabeth at their web-site to wish her well, but I wonder if this isn't worse than they feel. I know many people who have their cancer return who just don't make it. then on the other hand, my mother-in-law had surgery to remove cancer from her intestines when she was 88 and it HAS NOT returned. She will soon be 95, but has SEVERE Alzheimer's and has lived with us for 8 years.

Go, Johnny, Go!!!! And my heart is heavy for you and yours. It would be so awful for their family to lose Elizabeth! What a fantastic woman!!
