?? Did Fuckhead Do Radio Addresses While Clinton Was Still President?
or did clinton do radio addresses while fuckhead's father was still president?

i can't remember this happening before (re: barack's saturday radio addresses)

is there a precedent for this or does obama do the weekly address because this country is in such a state of emergency/shambles and we can hardly wait for him to get into the white house?

1. I think it's the latter of your options.

It seems like people are clamoring for him to exercise his yet non-existent executive powers. He might as well do something to throw them a bone.

FDR: We want him out!
ER: We're dead, and we still want him 'out'!

3. I think you are right it hasn't happened before
I think it's a great strategy to set expectations of what is going to do when he is officially in office.

5. According to Obama, there's only one president at a time
I must admit it's a little confusing.

6. You said it.
I wish he could have moved into the White House the day after the election. The weekly address is a comfort.

7. Didn't Bush get appointed and then take a month's vacation?
I can't imagine him not taking a vacation in anticipation of years with no time off!

8. Bush has clearly checked out... Obama is trying to fill a vacuum.
while treading the line between the old "one President at a time" convention.

10. i do not, for a second, believe the people of this country would
allow that prick to be a "decider" for a single second more than he's getting at this point. EVERYONE is so sick and puking tired of his shit--including republicons.
