Unfortunately, he replied, there were security implications for users. But the perfect database would merely be the archives of DU from its inception till now, or even a few years ago.

... and most of it would be redundant and unsourced.
It would be cool if there were some kind of wiki where data could be brought together, organized, fact checked and presented in a calm and rational way.
