Not getting the cash is the same as not having after spending the cash. Except when you SPEND the cash you control where it goes and can utilize it better.

THIS IS FUCKING SIMPLE! Ugh... oh well, they aren't in charge, so ha!

1. When there is no corresponding spending cut, and we run up deficits...
it's actually like RAISING taxes, because we have to pay interest.

2. And it has *never* been shown that tax cuts increase growth of the economy.
As much as they like to spout it, nothing bears it out.

4. Correct. Tax cuts don't put money in circulation. I can pocket my tax cut
just like the banks sitting on their billions from the TARP, refusing to start lending again.

Right now money in circulation is what we need. That's best done through govt. spending.

5. I love rubbing this in their faces.
Best known stimulus is......wait for it....FOOD STAMPS! That ought to make 'welfare queen'-hating Reaganites fall to pieces.

Not so much that I thnk we need a tax cut, but in who needs to spend or save.

I believe that the our own Government needs to learn to budeget and spend wisely, which has not been done.
The Congress and Senate needs to stop blowing money like a Coke addict in Crack house, and actually spend on something that accomplishes some National Goals instead of rewarding donors, and special interests groups. Hell for that, maybe we should actually establish some sort of National Goals to work towards. Like actually setting a Goal Date for Energy Indenpendance or a Goal date to get a plan to set a date for Energy independance...or setting a goal of ending the National Debt and establishing a budget where Routine Governement has to be run within existing fund. Just like the rest of us who live in the real world.

I don't have a problem with Government spending as much as I have a problem with them beliveing they have an open bottomless account and that Government spending is free. The money has to come from somewhere as the government does not earn money, they have to take it from someone else or just print more.

Eventually even the rich will run out of money to take, or more likely just move somewhere else, and then there is no money left.

Or they can print more which just makes the cash we have worth less, decreases you actual buying power and decreases the incentive to save, since you actually lose money (buying power) while it sits in the bank.

(sorry, I rambled a bit, long work day)
