Edited on Thu Jan-29-09 08:44 PM by proud2Blib
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Police say two teens used a taser on a boy in an attack Wednesday in Overland Park.

The incident occurred about 6:30 p.m. as the 14-year-old victim walked home from a middle school near West 133rd and Outlook Drive.

The victim told police two teenage boys attacked him from behind and forced him to the ground, police said.

The victim said he felt a sharp pain and thought his attackers put a knife in his stomach.

The suspects ran off without taking money from the boy.

2. Yeah we needed another weapon that backfired
I thought at the time when I was in school in the early 50's that gettting pushed around or having the few marbles I had taken was bad but now with guns and knifes and now tasors what have we become.

One would think the parents who must have got the damn tasor would hide it as any weapon , guess not.

3. Why do you think the parents got the Taser?
I read the article it says nothing about the parents.

4. Because it's illegal for minors to buy them
The most likely scenario is that it was "borrowed" from one of their parents, though of course there are other possibilities.

5. Cowards. Typical of bullies.
Get them alone one at a time and I'll bet they'll piss themselves. Scum.

6. But you have to admit, it's better than being shot.
Try to look at the bright side.
