Bill O'Reilly calls himself Paul Revere, doesn't trust Obama because of Bush...
Can Barack Obama Save the Economy?

Thursday, January 29, 2009

By Bill O'Reilly

Last week, another 70,000 jobs were lost.

There's no question: The USA is in major economic trouble. Any debate about the worthiness of the stimulus is useless now because it's going to happen. President Obama is staking his entire future on it.

But what is vitally important is that the money is spent well and honestly. President Obama promises to do that and says you can follow all of the spending on recovery.gov.

Now "Talking Points" is skeptical that the feds will spend our tax dollars wisely because in the past they have not. So Paul Revere, that's me, has an obligation to suggest some constructive ideas to help the process, and here they are:

3. Had Bill O'Reilly and the Factor been around in 1775
he would have spent weeks slamming Paul Revere for making his ride and alarming people. I can only imagine what he would have said about Lexington/Concord.

7. Had Billo been around in 1775, he would have demanded that King George
send the Hessians on Paul Revere.

9. So, is this the first time in eight years?
Can anyone remember the last time Billo talked about job losses? God knows there were massive losses all through the Bush years, which had a net loss in jobs over its eight year run, and didn't add enough jobs to cover the expansion of job-age persons in the country. I'm sure Billo was all over that like the cheap suits he wears, right?

Of course it's not right. Billo's a flaming hypocrite.
