Iraq war, PATRIOT Act, Bankruptcy bill, etc. etc. etc.. appointments to SCOTUS, Gonzales, Ashcroft, etc. etc...

you know, the way the loser Rs are acting right now..
they lost BIG TIME, yet they are dominating the airwaves,
this whole scenario gives me very little hope

4. Yesterday the Senate fell short by two votes...
the 60-vote threshold needed to add $25 billion for highway projects and transit programs. And one of those two votes was Mary Landrieu. We will be able to pass no legislation without the dreadful 'bi-partisanship'..or the equally dreaded 'compromise'. But that's okay because we'll be partisan!! Whippeeee!!

5. Dems always want to go along to get along, so they sign on to unpopular

and harmful shit. Republicans are good at taking the pulse of Joe Blow, so they refuse to sign on to anything unpopular, letting Dems be the "responsible" party.

7. The stimulus will pass minus someof the things that are not stimulus.

Where would we be today if Dems hadn't fought for us?---in much much better shape.
