7 Dems voted against the stimulus bill; 1 has a good reason
Who were the 6 who voted against it because they're asshole right-wingers?

Bobby Bright ("D"-AL)
Parker Griffith ("D"-AL)
Walt Minnick ("D"-ID)
Collin Peterson ("D"-MN)
Heath Shuler (KKK-NC)
Gene Taylor ("D"-MS)

now one Democrat, staunch progressive Peter DeFazio (D-OR), voted against it because of all the ridiculous tax cuts and the gutting of infrastructure spending.

3. Not surprised at Schuler - he's one we need to target for a progressive
replacement.

Needs to pull his head out of his ass and realize this state went Blue this year and kicked Libby to the curb - in 21 months we'll hopefully do the same to him

17. He's a Rahm pet project - they think he's safe
Honestly, the seat might as well have a Republican in it because his record clearly reflects where he stands. When I hear people say that "at least that seat has a Democrat! A liberal couldn't win there!" I get incensed. He's the poster child of DINO.

12. I don't think so. DeFazio had a good reason. The others do not.

16. Why? I would examine the other's reasons too and if they were good reasons I'd support their choice
But they aren't good reasons. In my opinion, of course.

Look at my posts below... I know why Minnick voted against the bill, but I don't consider his reasons good. That's the difference.

7. Minnick is going to be a wuss on a lot of votes - first Idaho Dem to get elected in a long long time
Idaho is second most conservative state in the union. He only got elected because people Bill Sali was so inept. Until we do more work on the ground here in Idaho he's a bout the best your gonna get from our state... :(

14. That's all relative to your perspective.
We knew getting a "D" into the House from Idaho was pretty much impossible unless Republicans elected him. But its a start.

8. DeFazio used to be my rep.
I can't think of anyone who represents his constituents better. Even my freeper dad has respect for DeFazio because his representation is so outstanding.

Miss ya, Pete. Keep fighting the good fight.
